About the federation
The Dominica Chess Federation is the governing body for chess in Dominica. We run the national championships, keep the ratings, train arbiters and select the teams that represent Dominica abroad.
Our mission
To develop chess in Dominica with national championships, open and women's events, and coaching for young players.
The federation sanctions tournaments, publishes the rating list and selects national teams for the Chess Olympiad and youth events.
It is run by an elected council of volunteers. Clubs and schools affiliate to the federation, and players join as members.
